Handwash Soap Dispensers

Wednesday, August 11th, 2010

Handwash Soap Dispensers

The word ‘dispenser’ is defined in the dictionary as one that dispenses or gives out, especially a machine or container that allows the contents to be removed and used in convenient or prescribed amounts.

With the introduction of designer bath fittings, the emphasis on sanitation and hygiene has also increased manifold. Swanky restrooms equipped with all the modern amenities have become an integral part of interior designing nowadays. So, with a lot of importance on sanitary services, dispensers have come to occupy a very significant place. All the regular toiletries like paper towels, hand sanitizers and soap come fitted with a dispenser these days which not only takes care of your personal hygiene but is also very convenient to use.

Handwash soap dispensers are generally found in public restrooms but because of their  ability to combat preventable infections, communicable diseases, and food-borne illnesses, they are becoming increasingly popular at homes as well. Soap dispensers can be of various types like automatic and manual which come in a myriad shapes and colors. They can be free standing, deck mounted, or wall mounted too. However, the design of a manual soap dispenser depends greatly on whether the soap comes in liquid, powder, or foam form. The liquid soap dispensers are made of plastic and are disposable in nature. But in case of a powdered soap like borax the bottle is usually made up of metal. Foam soap dispensers, on the other hand often consist of a large button which squeezes the foam out of a tube. This formula applies to many liquid soap dispensers as well.

But unlike manual soap dispenser, the automatic one is a hands-free battery operated device. The touch-free design operates when a sensor detects motion under the nozzle, and dispenses the liquid. It not only avoids waste but also helps to keep the sink clean. Moreover, its easy installation makes it one of the most sought after washroom accessories.

However, having said all this, the importance of hand sanitizer dispensers cannot be undermined. They are catching up fast in the West. There are simple as well as highly sophisticated ones. However, their appeal lies in easy installation and refill. Moreover, they also help reduce waste.

Dispensers also play an instrumental role when it comes to paper towels. The automatic handy dispensers fitted with paper towels are not only visually appealing but are also useful in more ways than one. They take up very little space and can be installed in spaces that are otherwise unutilized. Automatic paper towel dispensers keep your paper towels dry thereby reducing the incidence of bacterial infections.

Also available in the market are automatic hands free paper towel dispensers. They can be of two types — roll type dispensers and multifold towel dispensers. Also called commercial paper towel dispensers they can be installed both at work places and homes. Paper towel dispensers reduce cross contamination as they are touchless. When you place your hands beneath the dispenser a sensor detects the motion and starts rolling out paper. Once the desired amount of paper has rolled out you move your hand and it automatically truncates the paper. It is considered safe and hygienic because rest of the places are kept clean and dry.

Commercial toilet paper dispensers are also very much in vogue because apart from being safe and hygienic they also add an element of sophistication to the overall décor.

But just in case you are wondering where to obtain these from the answer is simple. We at Impact Hygiene offer round the clock sanitary hygiene services with a range of paper products and chemicals throughout Australia. People usually contract bacterial infections from the washroom. But since the germs are invisible to the naked eye, we are oblivious about their presence. So, it takes an expert to identify, isolate and eliminate your greatest sources of contamination. The teams at Impact Hygiene are trained to identify these problems and work to make your facility as clean, safe and hygienic as possible.

Scarlett Robinson is a house wife and takes keen eye on the sanitary hygiene of the family. She is very particular about the handwash soap dispensers and the commercial toilet paper dispenser of the restroom in the house. Scarlett keeps the washroom immaculately clean to prevent her children from infections and illness.

Why don’t prisons try putting liquid soap dispensers in the showers?

Monday, June 21st, 2010

Question by Unknown: Why don’t prisons try putting liquid soap dispensers in the showers?
Wouldn’t that help reduce the number of prison rapes? There would be no need for a soap on a rope.
Soap on a rope can be used as a weapon too. Just swing it around and hit somebody’s head with it.
I know prisons are to punish, they get the punishment from being locked behind bars, being ordered around and not being able to see the outside world. But prisoners still have the right to be safe and protected.

Best answer:

Could be broken and used as a weapon.*

Where can I find decorative foam soap dispensers?

    Tuesday, April 6th, 2010

I love her with soap foam in my bathroom and the kitchen sink. I currently have 2 soap dispenser foam plastic that I bought with soap in it. When it ended, I bought a large tank refill with soap and keep filling the plastic dispenser. I thought it would be nice, decorative foam soap dispensers instead of plastic I use generics. So I started looking in stores and I can not find specifically for soap foam. All I was looking for standard liquid soap, no soap scum. I tried to add some foam soap dispenser in a standard liquid hand soap and it did not foam. Does anyone know where I can find a decorative foam soap dispenser? I have a bit of foam soap dispenser available in single line, but I prefer something in a store, so I kann.Entschuldigung like him. . . I must say, if I ever watched. Target, Wal-Mart, Sears, TJ Maxx and Kohl had not. I looked at Bed Bath & Beyond and Linen and articles found online and nothing. Bath and Body Works has no soap dispenser on it without the logo.

    Bathroom Dispensers

    Monday, November 23rd, 2009

BEWARE ! Beware of “free” soap and paper dispensers that have higher long-term costs, vandalism, and low quality bathroom dispensers. Are your toilet paper dispensers, toilet seat cover dispensers, soap dispensers, and paper towel dispensers meeting today’s standards? The public demands clean and functional restrooms that are convenient and easy to use. The challenge must be met by building owners and managers.
Toilet paper dispensers, toilet seat cover dispensers, soap dispensers, and paper towel dispensers are found in all types of public and private restrooms in airports, restaurants, retail establishments, class “A” office buildings, movie theaters, schools and universities, government buildings, and many other high use facilities. Savvy building owners and managers know the importance of clean and functional restrooms. They are aware that women are responsible for 80% of all retail purchase decisions. And they are very aware that women with small children want well located, well stocked and clean restrooms or they will not return.
The invention, use and sale of toilet paper always interests people. Before toilet paper people used whatever was available – grass, leaves, shells, corncobs, stones, pieces of clay, etc. The Romans used sponges that were attached to sticks and stored in jugs of salty water. The “first” known toilet paper was produced for Chinese emperors in the late 14th century. They were manufactured on 2 foot x 3 foot sheets. Later, newspapers and magazines were common substitutes for toilet paper. The Sears catalogue and The Farmer’s Almanac were both utilized in this manner and the Farmer’s Almanac had a hole in it so that it could be hung on a hook and the pages conveniently torn off for use. The first modern toilet paper was produced by Joseph C. Gayetty in 1857. It was a pre-moistened, aloe-medicated product called “Gayetty’s Medicated Paper” and his name was printed on every sheet. However, this first modern toilet paper was not “refined” as today’s product and contained a number of splinters embedded in the paper. Yes, sometimes it was “ouch!”
During the early days of toilet paper it was an embarrassing purchase. Even the manufacturing companies were hesitant to put their names on the product. It was routinely sold “under the counter. ” In 1935 the first “splinter-free” toilet paper was introduced by Northern Tissue and in 1942 the two-ply toilet paper was introduced. In 1973 the United States experienced its first toilet paper shortage. And today toilet paper is also used as a political weapon in South America. Prior to the elections of Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, many of his industrial opponents created artificial shortages of “necessary” products such as food and toilet paper. The goal was to suggest that Chavez’s policies were responsible for the shortages.
Our toilet paper dispensers, toilet seat cover dispensers, soap dispensers, and paper towel dispensers are designed and manufactured for today’s customers. They are designed to withstand abuse and damage by vandals. Our Toilet Paper Dispensers provide a complete selection of surface mounted, recessed and partition mounted units. And there are similar options for Toilet Seat Cover Dispensers. There are multi-roll models for high volume or infrequent maintenance locations. You can select controlled or non-controlled delivery. And most models have theft-resistant spindles.
Our Soap Dispensers can be recessed, surface mounted or lavatory (counter) mounted. There are sensored units available to control the amount of soap dispensed. They are made from stainless steel or corrosion-resistant plastic components and have ADA compliant valves that require less than five pounds of force to operate. The facility usage should be carefully analyzed to purchase the appropriate model.
Our Paper Towel Dispensers offer the building owner a variety of choices from the traditional to the touchless. The touchless models are becoming more popular because the only thing the user touches is the paper towel. Like the sensored Soap Dispenser, the touchless Paper Towel Dispenser reduces the number of things or surfaces a restroom user touches and therefore reduces the spread of germs.
Our toilet paper dispensers, toilet seat cover dispensers, soap dispensers, and paper towel dispensers offer an excellent combination of price, selection, ease of installation and convenience. They are modern, well-designed, vandal resistant, low maintenance and will save the building owner money over the long-term. These dispensers are essential elements in modern restroom design and function.

Why do soap dispensers sometimes drip soap all on their own? How can I prevent it?

    Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

I’ve noticed that a lot of my store bought liquid soap dispensers (the pump kind) drip out soap automatically, usually after it’s reached the half-full (or half-empty) point. I end up with a lot of drying soap on the bottle & the counter. It’s a messy waste! Why does it happen & how can I stop it?
