Frequent Hand Washing for Children – Consider a Bulk Soap Dispenser for your Home Bathroom

Friday, November 20th, 2009

In this day and age of potential exposure to H1N1 (Swine Flu), MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) and numerous other bacteria and viruses, one thing we are constantly told is to “wash your hands frequently. “  This is sound advice as According to the Center for Disease Control, hand washing is the most effective way of preventing sickness.    One of the biggest challenges parents face is instilling the practice in their children.      A great way to do this is by installing a small, commercial type, bulk soap dispenser in your home bathroom.   This provides many benefits:

In conclusion, there is no guarantee you can totally prevent infections, spread of germs or sickness; however, with frequent hand washing and proper practice of other proven personal hygiene methods, your exposure to potential unhealthy sources can be greatly reduced ensuring you a better chance of keeping your family healthy.

Does anyone know how to make a liquid hand soap thinner?

Thursday, November 19th, 2009

I have a touch free hand soap dispenser and I can’t find liquid soap that is thin enough – most of the commercial brands are too thick to flow through it. The soap I used to buy is no longer available so I’d like to figure out if there is a way to thin out liquid soap.
